Variety has reported that IJ4 grossed a total of $786.6 MM worldwide in theatres in 2008.  That is some serious coin for a fourth installment of
a film series..  In Variety's posting, the only film that grossed more in 2008 than IJ4 was The Dark Knight, bringing in just shy of 1 BILLION dollars
worldwide- it's absolutely amazing to think that a movie could round up that much cash!  Nevertheless, it happened in 2008-

Luke's Lightsaber Brings In Some Serious Republic Credits   |   9:00PM

Luke's lightsaber prop that was used in both ANH and ESB has gone for a plentiful $240K- a small price to pay for a HUGE piece
of Star Wars history- in ANH we watch as Obi Wan passes this saber on to Luke from his father, according to Obi-Wan.. He advises
Luke that "[his] father wanted [him] to have it when [he was] old enough, but [his] Uncle wouldn't allow it...."  Gee, wonder why!!

New SW: TOR Documentary Coming   |   3:00PM

We received the following transmission from our friends at LucasArts:

LucasArts and BioWare announced today that the first video documentary for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be available on the game?s official website on Monday, 12/15 (http://www.StarWarstheOldRepublic.com). The video gives an overview of the upcoming story-driven massively multiplayer online PC game set in the timeframe of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic franchise and provides the public with its first look at in-game footage.

In Star Wars: The Old Republic, players will explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy. Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, defining their personal story and determining their path down the light or dark side of the Force. Along the way, players will befriend courageous companions who will fight at their side or possibly betray them, based on the players? actions. Players can also choose to team up with friends to battle enemies and overcome incredible challenges using dynamic Star Wars combat.

The Last Drive-In In Delaware Cashes Out   |   12:00PM

The last remaining drive-in movie theatre in Delaware, located in Felton, has shut down its house lights for the last time.  It is sad
to see this American tradition fading to black, hopefully if you still have a local drive-in, you support it somehow.  They are quickly
diminishing into golf courses and housing developments, and once they're gone they're gone for good..
